Yes, there is financial support available for participants, especially those from underserved regions.

The financial support amounts are:
  • Mexico and Central America: 800 USD

Participants from underserved regions, including undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, professors, and researchers, are encouraged to apply for financial support.

The selection process aims to maximize diversity and ensure equitable access globally. It includes maximizing regional and national diversity among grantees, limiting the number of grantees from the same country, and ensuring equal gender representation.

Applicants must submit an abstract of their work and register as a member of Latin America Bioimaging (LABI). Detailed information on the responsibilities of students under financial support can be found in the call for applications. Each registered person can present only one work.
